Construction Update Part Two: Room to Run

An elementary school doesn’t need nearly as much parking as a corporate office, and corporate employees don’t get to go outside and play! Refiguring the landscape to meet our students’ desire to run and jump started with removing the existing parking areas along the southeast corner of the property. The resulting smooth surface will soon be grassy playgrounds.

Tearing out the parking surface all along the south wall and regrading the area makes way for basketball courts and sports fields.

Someday even three- and four-year-old children will have their own play space. This shady covered patio is right outside the area we have reserved for our future preschool classrooms. We’ll keep you posted with plans to open preschool classes in August 2013.
